Would you come back to Geisler's "Little Glenford"?
The quest for bass and birdies will continue next year! Our enjoyment of the
lake was unparralleled!

This was our third year at Geisler's "Little Glenford". The house is so comfortable
we always have a great time. Thanks for the second float, we used it the whole week.

"Dear Geisler Family - Just note of thanks for another wonderful, peaceful,
restful, fun week. Went canoeing down the Crystal - sailed the "American"
in Big Glen, fished at the Narrows, caught 14 fish total. Boys fly fished
in the Crystal, caught some small bass and a trout. We went to the 4th
parade in Glen Arbor. What a hoot. Best Kazoo Corp. around! Ate a Prevaleen
burger at Glen Lake Dairy Bar - Good!! Tonight, going to get a pastie at
Tiffany’s & head to Glen Haven Dunes for a view of the fireworks at
Sleepy Bear Bay. Really…hate to leave in the A.M. We truly enjoyed ourselves.
Thanks for another Great Year."

What's there to do in the area?
"There are tons of things to do. Rent a speed boat, or a pontoon. Water
skiing. Hike the dunes. Go to Charlevoix, rent a boat there. Spend a day
at Mackinaw. Go to the Lake Michigan beach (white sand, waves, pretty girls).
Hang at Dave's beach and watch the kids play in the clear shallow water.
Go to Art's grill, have a great burger and a beer. Go to the dunes museum
when it rains. There's a State Park along the Northern beach, with beach
trails, no people and lots of neat rocks. It's a great place."

How was your stay at Little Glenford?
"Your house and Little Glen Lake was the perfect vacation spot for my family.
I can not imagine my daughter (2 and 1/2 years old) having a better time
anywhere else. She loved walking around in the shallow water, looking at
the rocks and small fish in the lake. The lake is so clear it is unbelievable.
The entire area was fantastic also. The scenic drive, Art's Tavern and
The Pine Cone were family favorites. Anyway, my wife, daughter and I give
three thumbs up to Little Glenford. It is certainly worthy of a return
trip someday."

We'll be back!
"Our vacation, this year, turned out to be unique and memorable, starting
with finding "Little Glenford" on the Web, continuing with the stay up
North, and ending with our reluctant departure on a drizzly day.
The house was great. A sense of ample room, a shimmering view of the
lake, cupboards full of everything you'd need, even things we hadn't anticipated
-- like board games and beach toys.
We ranged far and wide from our HQ on Glen Lake, walking the dunes ...
visiting TC (the nearby metropolis) ... picking pebbles, some so strange
we gave them names, e.g., "Quasimodo" ... watching some fascinating yellow
birds on the Pierce Stocking Drive ... pigging out on Kilwin's ice cream
... enjoying our dock and the view of Sleeping Bear Dunes on which the
sun played smile-and-frown ... cooking in and eating out ... and best of
all, wondrous nights: we'd go into the yard and, laying on blankets, we'd
watch the sky ... what a view; we could actually see the Milky Way ...
and more than once a falling star.
We had a good time. Thanks. The administrative side worked without a
hitch. The area is truly wonderful. We'll be back!"
